Two of Saipan’s premier attractions: Managaha Island and the Grotto, will remain closed until further notice, pursuant to Directive 14 of the COVID-19 emergency directives of 2020.

Increases the fines for violations of regulations pertaining to the use of signs for commercial purposes. Violations are subject to a civil penalty not to exceed $1,000 per violation, with an additional penalty not to exceed $300 for each violation that is not rectified in 10 business days.  

The University of Guam launched its five-year Para Hulo’ Strategic Plan, which will guide the university in preparation for its next accreditation site visit in 2024 by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges Senior College and University Commission, according to a Feb. 28 release.
