Guam residents may have noticed radar equipment being installed in some villages as part of Guam’s missile defense system. Similar equipment can be found in other locations on forward operating bases and in other islands, and can be used for training, testing, and detecting missiles. Guam Power Authority residential customers could see as much as a $53 savings in monthly power bills beginning Aug. 1, following the Guam Public Utilities Commission’s approval of a flat Levelized Energy Adjustment Clause.
