    The Dish – Prego

Located on the fourth floor of The Westin Guam Resort, Prego has re-opened its doors since closing in 2020.

The restaurant hosted a private dinner to celebrate its opening. General manager of The Westin Guam Resort, Abner Acosta, told dinner guests it was an opening, five years in the making.

Prego closed in 2020 due to the pandemic and was planned to open much sooner until Typhoon Mawar caused significant water damage to the restaurant in 2023.

Today, Prego offers a dining experience where “familiar flavors meet refined Italian dining.” Guests can expect  handcrafted pastas and pizzas and signature dishes paired with several wine options curated by a young and skillful culinary team led by Chef Paolo Cleofas; all while overlooking Tumon Bay.

Prego is open for dinner only, but will be offering breakfast and lunch in the near future.

Reservations can be made at its website at marriott.com or by calling (671) 647-1020. mbj
