
Garcia currently serves as GEDA’s public finance manager, a position she has held for about 10 years. According to Adelup, Garcia’s nomination follows a recommendation from the GEDA’s board of directors.
“Tina brings years of hands-on experience, a deep understanding of both public and private sectors, and a steadfast commitment to our island’s economic future,” Tenorio said.
Garcia holds a 1992 bachelor’s degree in marketing from the University of Guam and began working at GEDA in 1998 as an industry development specialist.
Adelup said that her nomination has been transmitted to the 38th Guam Legislature for legislative confirmation. mbj
