Briefing on labor laws kicks off SHRM’s annual breakfasts
The Society for Human Resource Management’s Guam Chapter hosts regular breakfast meetings at the Dusit Thani Guam Resort.
These and SHRM’s annual conference in August are always well-attended by members and guests hoping to take away some concrete knowledge and – as an added bonus – network with fellow members of the business community.

Topics to be covered include new EEOC initiatives, recent federal court decisions impacting the workplace, how to tell the difference between an employee and an independent contractor, and understanding the interplay between various leave laws.
From 8.30 a.m. to 10.30 a.m., the briefing is $70 for members and $80 for non-members.
