Palau Visitors Authority ask for more funding from Congress

     KOROR, Palau — The Palau Visitor’s Authority will submit a budget proposal to Congress in July asking for an increase in its budget — double its current financial package — to draw more tourists through an enhanced tourism strategy.

     Ngiraiblas Tmetuchl, owner and president of Palau Travel and Tours and Palau Travel and Tour Agency and PVA Board of Directors chairman, said the proposed fiscal 2018 budget will be pegged at $3.1 million, doubling its fiscal 2018 funding.
