TOKYO — Japan’s Skymark Airlines has confirmed that it is considering making Saipan its first international destination and is in discussions with the office of Gov. Ralph DLG. Torres about direct flight services.
In a statement, the governor said recent talks had examined the possibility of introducing direct flights between Tokyo and Saipan as soon as this winter.
“I met with Skymark Airlines executives a couple months ago to discuss the launch of direct flights from Japan to Saipan later . . .
