USS Topeka returns to Guam
SANTA RITA, Guam — Los Angeles-class attack submarine USS Topeka returned to its homeport of Apra Harbor, Guam, on March 30 following a three-month forward-operating period to the Western Pacific. The USS Topeka, under the command of Cmdr. Steven Tarr III, conducted routine patrols throughout the U.S. 7th Fleet area of responsibility in the Indo-Pacific region supporting national security interests and maritime security operations.
The submarine has a crew of about 140 sailors and is capable of supporting various missions . . .
