News flash — Tourism businesses unhappy at airport ban on signs
A.B. WON PAT INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT, GUAM – The Journal has learned that the Guam airport authority has banned welcome signs in the arrival lobby from the beginning of April.
Mary P. Rhodes, president of the Guam Hotel and Restaurant Association confirmed that the airport had issued a notice that it will only allow the use of “electronic tablets.”
“We were just notified,” she said. “And it’s effective April 1.”
