Hawaiian firm puts down roots in Guam

Hawaii-based general contracting firm The Nakoa Companies Inc. is planning to build a new apartment building on Milagro Street behind Cost-U-Less in Tamuning as part of its Guam presence. 

The building, which is projected to cost about $1.5 million and will be owned by Nakoa, is planned to have four three-bedroom units, three one-bedroom units and will feature a recreational deck on the roof. The building will be three stories tall with a footprint of 9,000-square-feet and is projected to begin construction this . . .
