Thomas E. Anderson, former executive vice president of Black Construction Corp. passed away in his sleep Feb. 12 at the age of 81.
Anderson worked in the construction industry as an engineer and general contractor for more than 50 years.
Anderson came to Guam shortly after Turor Siliba Corp. purchased Black Construction in 1995, to assist in the transition. He also spent time with EE Black in the Philippines. His career was marked by numerous promotions within the Tutor Perini group of companies, which eventually took him to the position of EVP of Black Construction in 2000 . . .
