KOROR, Palau — The current water supply improvement project to upgrade the water system of Palau is on track for its projected completion date of March 2018.
As of Dec. 29, the project was 82% complete, according to the Palau Public Utilities Corp.
PPUC stated that all transmission and water distribution lines have been installed and ready to be disinfected.
The project is also aimed at installing second treated water transmission lines, removing health hazard asbestos pipes in the network and preventing leaks in the system.
