MAJURO, Marshall Islands — The Marshall Islands is anticipating the opening of air service by a third international carrier, following the initialing of an air service agreement between the Marshall Islands and Papua New Guinea governments on Feb. 1.
The long-anticipated agreement paves the way for Air Niugini to include Majuro in its routes. With Air Niugini’s added service, passengers will have more direct routes to remote parts of the Pacific and Asia.
