Receivers oppose motion to quicken transition of GSWA
The federal receivers of the Guam Solid Waste Authority filed a motion on Jan. 17 in the District Court of Guam opposing requests to shorten the transition of control over GSWA from federal receivership to its board of directors.
On Nov. 28, the District Court and parties held a status hearing to discuss issues related to the transition which was scheduled to occur on Dec. 31.
