KOROR, Palau — Palau President Tommy E. Remengesau Jr. on Jan. 23 introduced a piece of legislation calling for the creation of a Palau Energy Administration, which will serve as the regulatory authority responsible in the areas of energy production, purchase and sale.
Remengesau in his letter to Palau Congress leaders said that the proposed measure is a result of the recommendations from the Palau Energy Summit last year that there is a regulatory authority in the energy sector.
When approved, PEA would take over the responsibility of approving the Palau Public . . .
