Unregistered land and transfers among ID issues

The gradual transfer of federal excess lands to the government of Guam and of government of Guam lands to private ownership in the last five to 10 years has led to uncertainties on what the current percentage of land ownership is on Guam by the federal, local and private sectors.
Land that is not surveyed and registered prevents the local government and private sectors from obtaining accurate numbers for the exact acreage of ownership.
