PORTLAND, Ore. — Submarine tender USS Frank Cable finished its dry-dock repair availability in Portland, Ore., and began the return trip to its homeport of Guam on Dec. 21, according to a Dec. 28 release by the U.S. Navy.
Vigor Industrial — a shipbuilding, complex fabrication, ship repair and conversion firm that operates in the Pacific Northwest and Alaska — completed $56 million of improvements, maintenance, steel renewal and equipment repairs to the ship while it was dry-docked.
