Serendib – The Shawarma Grill, a new restaurant in Tumon, is planned to open the weekend of Jan. 27 in the Tumon Bay Center. Serendib will serve Middle Eastern and Southeast Asian cuisine such as shawarmas, falafel, kebabs and Southeast Asian curry.
“What we’re trying to do is provide customers with our version of authentic Middle Eastern and Southeast Asian cuisine,” Sabri Jiffrey, owner and managing director of Serendib, told the Journal.
