Ana Kristine L. Absalon pleaded guilty to misdemeanor charges in the U.S. District Court of Guam on Nov. 27 and to felony charges in the Superior Court of Guam on Nov. 28.
The government of Guam claims that Absalon prepared the tax returns of four individuals, which Prestige Automobiles used to register six automobiles at the Department of Revenue and Taxation as part of a scheme to defraud taxpayers. GovGuam estimates that 61 automobiles were registered or shipped and that these transactions took place from about October 2013 to July 2015.
