Guam Chamber reports on progress; H-2B issue unresolved

TUMON, Guam — A number of officers spoke at the Guam Chamber of Commerce general meeting and annual election on Nov. 15 at the Pacific Star Resort & Spa. 

President Catherine S. Castro in her speech updated attendees on advice received on Nov. 14 from Shirley “Sam” Mabini, director of the Guam Department of Labor and Greg Massey, administrator of DOL’s Alien Labor Processing and Certification Division.  

“Since there are no petitions in the pipeline, they don’t know what the current approval ratings are for H-2Bs,” Castro said . . .
