Recently, I was fortunate enough to attend a presentation by the Volcker Alliance in D.C. Federal Reserve Board Chairman Paul A. Volcker started this nonpartisan Alliance in 2013. Their current study surveyed “next generation” public managers/leaders with five to 15 years in public management careers. The idea was to begin to explore the future of public service leadership.
