US B-1B bombers conduct drills off South Korean coast

SEOUL — U.S. B-1B bombers from Andersen Air Force Base participated in drills with South Korean jets off the coast of South Korea on Oct. 10. North Korea, which threatened to launch missile attacks against Guam in recent weeks, claimed these drills were preparation for war. The drills came after reports emerged that North Korean hackers may have stolen several classified documents from South Korea. Although these hacking reports have yet to be confirmed, these allegations are part of a series of incidents that have caused tensions in the region to escalate . . .
