Guam Department of Agriculture hosts reforestation event

                 MERIZO, Guam — The Guam Department of Agriculture, Forestry and Soil Resources Division, in collaboration with the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, held a watershed reforestation planting event on Oct. 21 at the Manell Watershed in Merizo, the third since 2015. A total of 200 people including 16 Forestry personnel participated. The Manell Watershed was initially a 5-acre-footprint and has since expanded to approximately 17 acres including a firebreak.
