Although it is too soon for northern California wineries affected by wildfires earlier this month to tell the total extent of damage to their properties, local wine wholesalers for the Mariana Islands are concerned about its effect on quality, quantity and price.
If Napa and Sonoma winery inventories are subsequently diminished, Thomas Reyes, sales manager at Titan Imports, anticipates that prices will be unaffected, but that Guam’s wine market will suffer from low inventory.
Titan’s inventory is approximately 35% wine and 65% spirits, spirits being the company’s main priority . . .
