ANDERSEN AIR FORCE BASE, Guam — Andersen Air Force Base received 1.5 million pounds of munitions, which were offloaded by airmen from the 36th Munitions Squadron during a process that lasted from Aug. 21 through Sept. 30. Annual in-shipments of munitions are needed to replace munitions that expire or are expended during training. This most recent shipment helps to support an overall growth of more than 10% of total munitions on hand on Guam, which will increase the overall availability of day-to-day training assets and War Reserve Material stocks . . .
