The District Court of Guam on Sept. 30 denied motions for summary judgement, and to strike a jury demand in a lawsuit filed by former shipyard employees against Guam Industrial Services, which does business as Guam Shipyard, and its president, Mathews Pothen. Both the employees and the Guam Shipyard had filed separate motions for summary judgment and Guam Shipyard had filed the motion to strike the employees’ jury demand.
