Saipan teacher opens college prep academy

Saipan International School college counselor and teacher Keith A. Tessen in September opened an independent college advisory service. Saipan College Prep Academy offers college advisement for high school seniors; college preparation courses for high school freshmen, sophomores and juniors and courses in essay-writing for middle and high school students. The college prep courses are designed to introduce younger students to standardized tests, such as the SAT, ACT and TOEFL, as well as to the different types of colleges and universities — and how to choose a college, research a college or university and . . .
