Health and wellness: Simple tips for maintaining your health

Remaining healthy is important to all — whether laboring in a physically demanding, outdoor position or working in an indoor, office setting, productivity quickly diminishes when sickness, physical ailments or disease strike.

Specifically, on the islands, heart disease is one of the three leading causes of death for Asian and Pacific Islander populations, according to the Centers of Disease Control and Prevention. The other two leading causes are stroke and cancer.
