Congress is set to return to work after the usual August recess and address several emergency funding issues that will include money for the hurricanes that recently affected Texas and Florida. However, several healthcare bills will also be addressed to include yet another possible attempt to repeal and replace the Affordable Care Act and funding for the Children’s Health Insurance Program. Funding for CHIP is set to expire Sept. 30, but Congress will most likely renew it and will also include legislation to provide some stabilization of the individual insurance markets under the Affordable . . .
