Mark O. Rabauliman, secretary of the Department of Commerce, updated the Saipan Chamber of Commerce on Sept. 6 on the 2016 Prevailing Wage and Workforce Assessment Study.
Now in its third iteration, the primary purpose of the study is to determine the types of occupations that exist and measure occupation-specific hourly wage rates for each of the identified occupations in the economy of the Northern Mariana Islands. The target population of the study is all employees in the NMI, including the private and public sectors.
