Swire Shipping to offer weekly services to Micronesia

SINGAPORE — Swire Shipping will upgrade its multipurpose liner service and introduce a fixed day weekly delivery schedule into Guam and Saipan from September. After four years of continuous service in Guam, Swire Shipping introduced its service to Saipan late last year and has been calling both markets on a fortnightly basis, according to an Aug. 25 release.

  The company will cooperate with American President Line and gain access to APL’s regular service operating between South Korea, Japan, Guam and Saipan.

  Swire Shipping is the liner shipping division of The China Navigation Co. and operates multiple liner trades . . .
