The Guam Land Use Commission granted a one-year extension on Aug. 24 to Guam Wangfang Construction Ltd. to acquire a grading permit for its Pago Bay Ocean Resort project. Out of five voting commission members, three voted in favor of the extension, which was requested in May, only eight days before the previous notice of action expired.
On May 25, Barbara Burkhardt, the design manager for the project in Yona, presented to the commission the six-month status report and continuation of an order to show cause on the conditions of the height variance, approved on April 28, 2016 . . .
