Supreme Court sides with landlord/employer in eviction case

The Supreme Court of Guam upheld a Superior Court ruling siding with the owner of an apartment complex that was attempting to evict a former employee that was also a tenant of the property.

On April 15, 2016 Sam Union Inc., the owner of Harmon Garden Apartments, brought an unlawful detainer action to legally remove former maintenance worker Richard Arnold from his residence on the property. Sam Union had provided Arnold a 30-day notice to vacate the unit after terminating his employment with the company.
