Real estate redux: Data shows increase

Real estate sales for the first half of 2017 are on track to outpace 2016.

Some $303.1 million in transactions occured from January to June, compared to $346 million in the same period of 2016 and $566.7 million in all of 2016, according to data prepared by Cornerstone Valuation Guam Inc. There were 781 real estate transactions in the first and second quarters of 2017 combined, and there were 1,342 transactions in the whole of 2016.

Trends in 2017 appear to mirror 2016, with the first quarters of each year . . .
