In the media business, we were quickly aware of the attention focused on the war of words between the United States and North Korea earlier in August, particularly given Guam’s location and that this was not the first time there had been threats made against the island.
And our newsroom – not for the first time – received dozens of requests for assistance from international media organizations. Many of those organizations and then some have now sent news teams to the island.
