KOROR, Palau — Palau held its first National Energy Summit from Aug. 8 to 10 to boost the country’s renewable efforts as part of its Paris Climate Change commitment to reduce its fossil fuel reliance by half by 2025.
During the three-day summit, stakeholders joined in the discussion of Palau’s cleaner energy future drafted an action plan.
Summit attendees included participants from the national government, the private sector and the general public.
International technical advisors such as the International Renewable Energy Agency, the New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs . . .
