Marshalls looks for changes in new Army contract

MAJURO, Marshall Islands — A large number of construction projects in progress and in planning at the US Army Garrison-Kwajalein Atoll suggest Marshallese employment opportunities will remain steady despite a change of prime contractors.

New USAG-KA Commander Col. James DeOre said he doesn’t see the likelihood of downturn in employment of Marshallese despite the Base Operations Support contract changing hands over the next six months.
