Japan white paper analyses NK

TOKYO — North Korea has achieved the miniaturization of a nuclear warhead so that it can be attached to a ballistic missile, according to Japan’s annual defense white paper.

The report was release on Aug. 8, coinciding with Pyongyang threatening to fire four Hwasong intermediate-range ballistic missiles at Guam.

The analysis of North Korea’s sudden strides in weapons technology incorporates information obtained in the wake of North Korea’s launch of two intercontinental ballistic missiles in July.
