Following a defendant’s assertion for the right to a speedy trial at a motions hearing yesterday, the proceeding dates for the criminal felony case against Shen’s Corp., which does business as Prestige Automobiles, and two of its employees have been moved up. The court scheduled a motions hearing for Aug. 18 and the jury selection for Sept. 18.
The assertion was made by Prestige Automobiles employee Orlando P. Domingo, who is accused of identity theft and forgery along with another employee, Ana Kristine Lara Absalon.
