Remengesau refers airport improvements bill back to Congress

KOROR, Palau — President Thomas E. Remengesau Jr. on July 28 referred a bill to launch a public-private partnership contract for improvements at the Palau International Airport back to the Olbiil Era Kelulau, the national Congress.

Although Remengesau lauded the cooperation shown by the OEK in expediting House Bill 10-3-2, he said an added provision on the bill could jeopardize contacts already in place to pave the way for the projects.
