ASAN, Guam — The public has until Sept. 15 to provide comment for a supplemental study assessing the potential environmental impacts associated with ongoing at-sea military readiness activities, including the use of active sonar and explosives. The study is a supplement to the 2015 Final Environmental Impact Statement/Overseas Environmental Impact Statement regarding ongoing and future activities conducted at sea and on Farallon de Medinilla beyond 2020. The U.S. Navy is requesting public comments on potential environmental issues and viable alternatives.
