WASHINGTON, D.C. — The Commonwealth Ports Authority will receive $3,761,807 to replace three of the passenger loading bridges at the Francisco C. Ada/Saipan International Airport, according to Gregorio C. “Kilili” Sablan, the Northern Mariana Island’s representative to Congress.

Congress provides the funding through the Airport Improvement Program administered by the Federal Aviation Administration. The program provides around $3.2 billion annually for runways and taxiways and other capital projects at more than 3,300 airports
