KOROR, Palau — Ongoing improvements at the Palau Public Utilities Corp. power plant will be causing some unscheduled power outages throughout the island nation, the utility warned the public.
A major overhaul to one of the generators in the power plant started on May 23, and another generator will be overhauled from September to November.
According to Rhea Isebong Rengulbai, the public information officer for the PPUC, the installation of a new radiator for the Malakal Power Plant generator will begin right after the first generator’s overhaul is complete.  . . .
