NMI Commerce urges businesses to submit prevailing wage survey

CAPITOL HILL, Saipan — The Northern Mariana Islands Department of Commerce’s Central Statistics Division has been conducting the 2016 Prevailing Wage and Workforce Assessment Study and data collection from more than 900 businesses in the NMI since March. Results will be used to help determine prevailing wages for occupations in the NMI to be used to obtain work visas for foreign labor hiring, assess local workforce training needs and programs and to make for business and local government leaders business policy decisions.
