Mayor’s concerns stall bill to ‘kicksart’ Tiyan economic development

A bill to rezone Tiyan land and “kickstart” the area’s economic development that was up for vote in the Guam Legislature on June 16 has been sent back to committee for review following a letter to the senators from Barrigada Mayor June U. Blas.




Sens. Thomas C. Ada and James V. Espaldon of the 34th Guam Legislature introduced Bill 13-34 on Jan. 27, a bill that would allow for the rezoning of approximately 250 acres of government-owned land as well as 35 lots with private ownership . . .
