Imperial Pacific International (CNMI) LLC, which does business as Best Sunshine, has settled a lawsuit filed by a former employee, according to an order of dismissal signed by Chief Judge Ramona V. Manglona on June 13.
The former employee, Danny Ewing, accused Imperial Pacific of wrongful termination in retaliation of his complaint and refusal to participate in alleged illegal activities performed by Imperial Pacific employees. The alleged illegal activities include violating the Bank Secrecy Act and Occupational Safety & Hazard Administration and fair wage regulations, failing to enact strict anti-money laundering programs and dodging reporting requirement programs . . .
