The national retail industry is suffering significantly this year, as can be witnessed by mass store closures of retail giants such as Macy’s, J.C. Penney, Sears and Kmart and mall staples like Abercrombie & Fitch, Guess, The Limited and BCBG Max Azria.
But most Guam outlets of national chains do not seem to be affected, with some even showing growth and expansion despite national consolidations.
