Marshall Islands looks forward to air service boost

MAJURO, Marshall Islands — The launch of Nauru Airlines’ new Guam service is “imminent,” while the Marshall Islands Aviation Task Force sees progress for getting new service to the Marshalls by the Papua New Guinea national airline, Air Niugini.

Joseph “Jerry” Kramer, CEO of Pacific International Inc. and vice chairman of the government-established Aviation Task Force, said Nauru Airlines plans to fly the route once per week, linking Nauru and other South Pacific destinations with Majuro, Pohnpei and Guam.
