Hotel opening adds 30 rooms to Palau’s inventory

KOROR, Palau — Jing Pin Hotel, an investment of at least $2 million by its owners, Kevin Lee and Rose Wang, is the latest addition to Palau’s hotel and lodging industry. The 30-room hotel opened near Koror Elementary School in Ngerbeched on May 21.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony was attended by the owners and high government officials including President Thomas E. Remengesau Jr., Senate President Hokkons Baules, Sen. John Skebong and Finance Minister Elbuchel Sadang.

“This is a joyous occasion for Palau,” Remengesau said in his remarks at the opening.
