Black Construction joint venture secures Diego Garcia contract

JOINT BASE PEARL HARBOR-HICKAM, Hawaii — The Guam-based joint venture of Black Construction/MACE International secured a major contract on May 30 from the Naval Facilities Engineering Command Pacific A-E/Construction Contracts Branch. According to the U.S. Department of Defense released contract information, NAVFAC Pacific awarded the contract valued at $27 million to the joint venture for a project to be completed on U.S. Naval Support Facility on the Diego Garcia atoll in the British Indian Ocean Territory.
